What it is and where it fits
The Omron E32T11N2M.1 is a through-beam fiber optic sensor from the established E32 series. It pairs an emitter and receiver head across a 3 m gap, rated IP67 for wet or dusty environments. The 2 m cable reaches most amplifiers without an extension, and the -40 to 70 °C operating range handles cold storage or hot factory floors.
Mounting and routing
Mount the two heads facing each other, clear optical path within the 3 m span. The 2 m cable is pre-attached; route it to the amplifier avoiding sharp bends near the head. For panels, use a proper gland at the cable entry to maintain the IP67 seal. Through-beam gives no false triggers from diffuse reflections if the beam is fully broken.
