The Omron G2R-1-SNDI DC24(S) is a G2RS-series general-purpose relay with a 24V DC coil and SPDT contact arrangement. It switches loads up to 10 A at 250V AC or 10 A at 30V DC, making it a straightforward fit for panel interposing, PLC output isolation, or small motor contactor pilot duty.
Ratings and fit
The SPDT form (one common, one N.O., one N.C.) covers simple on/off or changeover logic. The 10 A AC rating at 250V handles resistive and general-purpose inductive loads up to that current; the 10 A DC rating at 30V covers typical control-circuit switching. Dielectric strength is 5,000V AC between coil and contacts, so it isolates the 24V DC control side from the load circuit cleanly. The LED indicator and push-to-test button are on the relay itself, which helps during panel commissioning — you can cycle the relay manually without energizing the coil, and the LED confirms coil power is present. Electrical durability is rated at 100,000 operations at rated load; mechanical durability reaches 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 cycles, so the wear life is in the coil and contacts, not the mechanism.
