The 140NRP31200 is a Modicon Quantum automation platform Ethernet fiber converter with two LC multi-mode fiber ports and two RJ45 Ethernet ports, delivering 2000 m reach on 50/125 µm fiber or 3000 m on 62.5/125 µm fiber. It carries CE, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 142, FM Class 1 Division 2, TÜV, and C-tick certifications, and is rated for operation at 32 °C ambient with storage from -40 to 185 °F.

Selection and compatibility

Compared to the single-mode 140NRP31201, the 140NRP31200 uses multi-mode fiber with attenuation of -23.5...-14 dB (50/125 µm) and -20...-14 dB (62.5/125 µm), versus -15...-8 dB for single-mode. The multi-mode version suits shorter campus runs up to 3000 m; the single-mode peer extends beyond that.
