At 161 x 140 x 86 mm (H x W x D), it occupies a standard MCCB cell in a switchboard. The toggle handle provides manual on/off control and clear visual indication of contact position.
The Icu (ultimate breaking capacity) varies with system voltage: 40 kA at 240 V AC, 25 kA at 415 V AC, 20 kA at 440 V AC, 15 kA at 500 V AC. Below that voltage, the margin widens; above it, the available fault current must stay under 15 kA. Utilisation category A (non-selectively coordinated for short-circuit) means it is typically used as the main breaker or a downstream device where full selectivity with another breaker is not required. For selective coordination, you would step up to a category B breaker in the same family.
The thermal element is adjustable via the Ir setting; the magnetic pickup is fixed at the factory. Neutral protection is set at 1 x Ir (full-rated neutral) on this 4-pole version — the neutral pole is switched and protected equally to the phases.
IP40 finger protection (no tool access to live parts), IK07 impact resistance (2 J). Operates from 0 to 2000 m altitude without derating; above that, derate per the manufacturer's curve. Humidity tolerance 0–95% non-condensing. Mechanical durability is 20,000 cycles; electrical durability varies with load — 20,000 cycles at 440 V at half-rated current, 10,000 cycles at full rated current.
