Reversing contactor for motor control
The Schneider Electric TeSys K LC2K06015P7TQ is a reversing contactor — two contactors in one package with a mechanical interlock, so only one set of poles closes at a time. That interlock prevents a phase-to-phase short when swapping the motor rotation direction. At 440 V AC that translates to roughly 3 kW of motor power, which is the typical rating for a small conveyor, pump, or fan. The control coil is 230 V AC 50/60 Hz, drawing about 1.3 W holding power. Drop-out voltage is below 0.20 Uc, so it releases reliably on a sagging line.
Compliant with BS 5424, VDE 0660, NF C 63-110, and IEC 60947. IP2X finger protection per VDE 0106.
Integration notes
Power and control connections are screw clamp terminals, accepting up to 4 mm² solid or flexible wire. Spring terminal and Faston versions also listed for the same base contactor. The mechanical interlock is built in, so no external wiring or logic is needed to prevent simultaneous closure. The auxiliary contact composition is 1 NC, which can be wired into the opposite contactor's coil circuit for an additional safety layer.
