The SICK WTT12L-B2532 is a PowerProx photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression. It uses a red laser to detect objects between 50 mm and 2.5 m, ignoring the background behind the set cutoff — so it won't false-trigger on a machine frame or conveyor belt behind the target. Response time is 500 µs, fast enough to catch parts on a moderate-speed conveyor line. The push-pull output (sources or sinks 100 mA) works with most PLC input cards without a pull-up resistor. Runs on 10–30 VDC and carries IP67, so it handles washdown and damp environments — common on packaging and food lines. The M12 5-pin connector makes swap-out quick; no hardwiring into the sensor head.
Because it's active and a standard PowerProx variant, supply is steady through distribution.
