Switching capacity — what the voltage-specific ratings tell you
This contactor's contact ratings are specified per voltage, not a single blanket ampacity — the right way for a part that may see 24 VDC control circuits or 400 VAC motor auxiliaries in the same panel. At 24 V it switches 10 A; at 230 V it also handles 10 A, but at 400 V the rating drops to 3 A, and at 690 V it's 1 A.
