The TM210 thermal-magnetic release gives fixed thermal pickup and magnetic trip at 10× In, so it's a straight replacement for a panelboard feeder or distribution branch where you don't need adjustable long-time delay. Breaking capacity reaches 52.5 kA at 240 V and 32 kA at 415 V, which covers most commercial and light-industrial service-entrance and sub-distribution applications without needing a current-limiting upstream device.
Rated continuous current holds at 16 A from 40 °C through 50 °C ambient, then derates to 15.36 A at 55 °C, 15.04 A at 60 °C, 14.72 A at 65 °C, and 14.4 A at 70 °C. If your enclosure runs hot — say a crowded panel near a furnace or in a non-conditioned electrical room — you lose about 1.6 A by the time you hit 70 °C. That's enough to nuisance-trip a fully loaded 16 A circuit; plan for the derated figure if the ambient is known to exceed 50 °C. Four HQ auxiliary switches are built in, giving status feedback for PLC or SCADA without an add-on module.
