Protection settings and deployment
The TM220 overload is adjustable from 28 A to 40 A (In=40 A), and the short-circuit pickup is fixed at 10 x In. That fixed magnetic threshold suits motor branch circuits or feeder protection where high inrush is expected — the breaker holds through starting current but clears a bolted fault decisively. The N conductor is unprotected (terminal connection only), so this variant is intended for 3-phase + N systems where the neutral does not require overcurrent protection.
