The Siemens 3VU2911-4A is a release detector accessory for the 3VU2 series of motor protective circuit breakers. It provides one changeover NO/NC contact that signals when the breaker has tripped on overload or short-circuit, giving the panel or PLC a positive indication of the fault state.
Integration with the 3VU2 base
The detector mounts directly onto the 3VU2.1, 3VU2.2, or 3VU2.3 breaker base. It occupies the auxiliary contact slot and adds the trip-indication function without increasing the breaker's DIN-rail footprint. The changeover contact is rated for the control circuit voltage of the installation — typically 24 VDC or 230 VAC, depending on the application.
