The Siemens 6GT2811-5BA00-0AA1 is an RF600-series UHF RFID read/write device operating in the 865-868 MHz band, compliant with EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C. It reads passive transponders up to 5 m range, with extended range possible per the RF600 System Manual. The IP65-rated aluminum and ABS (GF20) housing with silver/pastel turquoise finish is built for washdown environments on production lines or logistics gates. Transmit power is adjustable from 65 mW to 500 mW, with a maximum of 1200 mW per external antenna port. At 24 V DC nominal (21.6-30 V DC range), typical draw is 0.395 A, maximum 0.47 A. Power consumption ranges from 65 mW idle to 800 mW at full transmit.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via 4 x M6 screws or VESA 100 pattern with 4 x M4 screws. Dimensions: 252 mm high, 193 mm wide, 52 mm deep.
