The Siemens 6GT2811-6AA10-2AA0 is a UHF RFID reader from the RF600 family, designed for direct Ethernet connection with PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA server integration built in. It operates in the 920-925 MHz band with adjustable transmit power from 3 mW up to 2000 mW, giving you control over read range versus interference in dense reader environments. The maximum read range is 8 m, with extended ranges possible per the RF600 System Manual. It supports DCP and LLDP for network discovery and commissioning, and draws 0.38 A typical / 2 A maximum at 24 VDC via an M12 8-pin connector.
Mounting and environmental fit
Mounts on 35 mm top-hat rail, profile rail, or VESA 100 with four M4 screws. The aluminum and Pocan housing carries an IP65 rating, so it withstands washdown and dust ingress on the factory floor.
