Contactors are electrically controlled switches used to start, stop and protect motors and other high-current loads in industrial control panels. Common types include AC, DC, IEC, NEMA, definite-purpose, vacuum, reversing and miniature contactors, plus matching auxiliary contact blocks and overload relays.
