Level transmitters convert tank, sump, or vessel liquid and bulk-solid levels into a continuous 4-20 mA, HART, or fieldbus output for process control. Common types include hydrostatic (submersible and external), capacitance, ultrasonic, radar (non-contact and guided-wave), and conductive probes, each suited to specific media, tank geometry, and accuracy needs.
