Motor specs and what they mean for fit
The Mitsubishi HG-SR102-K(B) is a 1.0 kW servo motor with a rated torque of 4.8 N·m. That 4.8 N·m figure is the continuous stall torque — the load the motor can hold at standstill without overheating. For a motion axis, match this to the reflected load inertia and duty cycle; the motor will deliver full torque up to its rated speed, but the thermal limit at low speed is set by this number, not the peak. Operating ambient is 0 °C to 40 °C (non-freezing). That 40 °C ceiling is typical for a panel-mounted servo — if the enclosure runs hotter (sun load, adjacent drives), you'll need to derate or add forced ventilation. Storage range is -15 °C to 70 °C, so it can sit in an unheated warehouse through a mild winter, but avoid freezing condensation on the windings.
