Discontinued — Sourcing Reality
The CP1E-N30DT-A is officially discontinued by Omron. No last-time-buy date is available. Sourcing is limited to surplus and broker channels — submit an RFQ for current availability and pricing.
Solid-State Outputs vs Relay Sibling
The CP1E-N30DT-A uses solid-state outputs (12 channels), while the CP1E-N30DR-A uses relay outputs. Solid-state gives faster switching and longer life in high-cycle applications but cannot handle the same inrush or AC loads as relays. If your panel was wired for relay outputs (common for motor starters or solenoid valves), the DT variant will not drop in without rewiring the output field wiring.
Expandability and Memory
This unit supports expansion up to 40 modules across 3 racks, making it suitable for medium-scale control systems. The 8K words memory is adequate for typical machine control but may be tight for data-heavy applications. The battery backup retains the program and data during power loss.
Power Supply and Mounting
Powered by 100-240 VAC. Mounts on DIN rail or chassis. The unit weighs 1.3 lbs (589.7 g).
Compliance and Approvals
Carries CE, cULus, Lloyd, and NK approvals. The software is CX-One.
