M18 inductive proximity, 8 mm range, PNP NO
The Omron E2A-M18LS08-M1-C3 is an M18 threaded-barrel inductive proximity sensor with an 8 mm sensing range on mild steel and a PNP normally-open output. The M12 quick-disconnect connector (4-pin, A-coded) mates with standard cordsets — no hardwiring into the barrel, so a swap takes under a minute when a line-down sensor fails. The 8 mm flush-mount range covers finger-protection gaps per IEC 61496-1 in guarding applications, and the PNP NO output sinks into a standard 24 VDC PLC input card without a pull-down resistor.
