Sensor Amplifier for E2C Proximity Heads
The Omron E2C-GE4A is a sensor amplifier that interfaces with the E2C series of proximity sensor heads. It converts the sensor head signal into a standard 3-wire output (typically NPN or PNP, depending on the variant) for connection to a PLC or controller. The amplifier is housed separately from the sensing head, allowing the head to be mounted in tight spaces while the amplifier is located in a panel or junction box.
