The Omron E2E-C04S12-WC-C1 2M is a 4 mm diameter inductive proximity sensor with a 1.2 mm sensing distance, pre-wired with a 2 m PVC oil-resistant cable. The 1.2 mm flush-mount range means it detects small ferrous targets at close proximity — typical for end-of-stroke or cam detection on compact machinery. The 4 mm barrel fits tight spaces where a standard 8 mm or 12 mm sensor won't clear. Wiring is straightforward: brown for +V, black for output, blue for 0 V. The PVC cable is oil-resistant, so it holds up in machine-tool coolant or washdown zones — no need for a separate conduit in moderate environments.
