What it is and where it fits
The Omron E2E-C06S02-WC-B1-R 5M is a 6.5 mm diameter shielded proximity sensor from the E2E Mini series, designed for space-constrained positions on automated machinery. It outputs PNP normally-open at 2 mm sensing distance, powered from 12 to 24 VDC (10 to 30 VDC range). The 5 m robotic cable is built for continuous flexing — appropriate for robot end-of-arm tooling or linear axes where the sensor moves with the carriage.
Mounting and cabling
Stainless steel barrel fits a 6.5 mm mounting hole. Shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal without sensing-distance derating. Cable is flying lead; wire colour coding follows standard PNP convention (brown +V, blue 0V, black output).
