The E2E-S05N03-MC-B1 is a small-diameter proximity sensor in size 05 — threaded outer diameter 5 mm, cylindrical 5.4 mm — designed for tight spaces where a standard M12 barrel won't fit. Unshielded construction (N suffix) means the sensing face can be flush-mounted in metal if the target approaches axially; confirm non-flush mounting for side approaches. Output is PNP normally open on a DC 3-wire circuit, so wiring matches sourcing PLC inputs or relay coils. Termination through an M8 3-pin connector keeps field replacement quick without stripping leads.
