The Omron E2E-X10MB3TL18-M1TJ 0.3M is an M18 unshielded proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, rated for a 10 mm sensing distance on mild steel. The unshielded construction means the field projects beyond the barrel face — the full 10 mm range holds only when the target approaches axially and the surrounding metal is outside the lateral detection zone. For stainless steel targets, apply the standard correction factor of approximately 0.7×, which budgets the usable range to 5–6 mm. The long-body form factor (77.3 mm overall, 50 mm threaded length) provides the coil length needed for the 10 mm unshielded range. IP67/IP67G/IP69K — washdown-rated housing and face
