E2E-X14C218-M1TJ 0.3M is a short-body M18 shielded proximity sensor from the OMRON E2E NEXT series. It delivers 14 mm sensing distance on a 3-wire DC NPN normally-closed output, with 0.3 m M12 pigtail cable and Smartclick connector. The nickel-plated brass case and PBT sensing face handle the hose-down and temporary submersion you see in water and wastewater plants.
Ingress reality for a wet well

Output and wiring fit
NPN NC – common for fail-safe interlocks and legacy PLC sink inputs. The 0.3 m pigtail with M12 Smartclick connector allows quick disconnect at the sensor; the short cable keeps panel wiring tidy. Supply 10–30 VDC, 3-wire. Ensure input card is sourcing (PNP) or add a pull-up resistor if the controller expects PNP.
