Output and wiring — what you need to know
This sensor carries a PNP normally-open output. That means the output switches positive relative to the supply common when a target enters the sensing field. Confirm your PLC input module or relay coil is configured for a sourcing (PNP) signal before wiring. The M18 barrel body with an M12 connector (the -M1 suffix) mates with standard M12 cordsets. The connector orientation is fixed at the factory, so plan the cable entry direction when mounting.
