The Omron E2EQ-X6B3D12 5M is a shielded M12 proximity sensor from the E2EQ NEXT series, designed for extended-range sensing in welding and heavy spatter environments. The fluororesin coating resists slag adhesion, so the sensor face stays clear longer than uncoated units. Sensing range is 6 mm, rated as 3× the standard distance for this form factor, which gives you more mounting tolerance around the target.

Rated IP67 and IP67G — the G suffix means the housing resists oil and coolant ingress typical in machining centers. The brass body with fluororesin-coated sensing surface handles weld spatter without buildup. Supply is 10 to 30 VDC, 3-wire PNP output with normally-open and normally-closed complementary contacts (NO+NC).
