Omron E2KC25ME1 is a cylindrical capacitive proximity sensor from the E2K-C series with adjustable sensitivity. It provides a 25 mm unshielded sensing range (maximum) and outputs NPN NO at 200 mA load from a 10-30 V DC supply. The IP66 and NEMA 4/12/13 enclosure means it holds up to washdown and dusty plant floors — useful for level detection in hoppers or non-contact presence on packaging lines.
Mounting and Wiring Notes
3-wire prewired cable, 2 m length, bare ends. Unshielded sensing face — the capacitive field extends through non-metallic tank walls or covers, so you don't have to cut a flush mounting hole. Ground the shield at the panel end only. The sensitivity adjustment driver (included) lets you tune the trigger point for non-conductive targets like plastic, glass, or wood. At 70 Hz switching frequency, it keeps up with moderate-speed conveyor counting or level fills.
