The Omron E3C-JB4P 2M is a DIN-rail-mounted amplifier unit for the E3C series photoelectric sensor heads. It accepts a 12–24 VDC supply, draws 50 mA, and provides a PNP open-collector output to the controller.

Supply voltage range (12–24 VDC) matches standard 24 V control panels; the 50 mA supply current is modest, leaving headroom for other loads on the same PSU. PNP output is sourcing; verify the PLC input module is configured for sinking inputs (common for most European controllers). Operating temperature from -10 to 55 °C covers typical indoor cabinet conditions without derating.
Panel integration notes
The amplifier clips onto standard DIN rail. It requires an E3C sensor head (sold separately) connected via the dedicated 2-meter cable. No fieldbus interface; output is a single PNP discrete signal.
