Laser sensing head with remote amplifier
The E3C-LDA51N 2M: This is a Type Laser Sensor with Separate Digital Amplifiers — the sensing head mounts at the point of detection while the amplifier tucks into the control panel. That split keeps the electronics away from vibration, heat, and washdown zones on the machine frame. Output is PNP (sourcing) at 12 to 24 VDC, which mates directly with most PLC input modules without a pull-down resistor. The 2 m pre-wired cable covers the distance from the amplifier back to the terminal strip in a typical panel layout. Operation is L-ON/D-ON selectable — you set the switching logic at the amplifier with a switch, no need to order a different variant if the control scheme changes mid-build.
Active production — no obsolescence risk
The slim rectangular amplifier body (plastic housing) fits standard DIN-rail mounting alongside other control components, keeping the panel layout clean.
External inputs for remote control
External inputs are included on this amplifier — a PLC digital output or a panel-mount switch can gate the laser on/off remotely, useful for sequenced inspection stations or to blank the beam during machine setup without reaching into the guarded area.
