The E3JMR4M4OMS.1: Relay output on this E3JM sensor switches directly into small loads — 3 A at up to 240 V — so it pulls double duty as a sensor and a pilot device. No separate interposing relay needed for a contactor coil or a solenoid valve. Retro-reflective design covers 4 m with a single reflector; LED red light simplifies alignment against conveyor belts or machine frames. Response sits at 30 ms, fine for flow detection on a packaging line but not for high-speed counting.
Panel Fit & Wiring
Body measures 25 x 65 x 75 mm – standard for the E3JM family, but wider and taller than the E3S-C micro style. Terminal block inside the housing; 12–240 V supply AC or DC means no extra power supply for panel builders running a mixed-voltage cabinet. IP66 rating handles washdown environments; temperature range -25 to 55 °C covers most indoor industrial settings. Mounting holes are on 25 mm centres – same as many Omron through-hole sensors, so the existing bracket may work.
