The Omron E3T-FD14 is a compact diffuse photoelectric sensor in the E3T series, built for tight-space detection up to 30 mm. It runs on 12–24 VDC, outputs PNP dark-on, and switches in 1 msec — fast enough for counting small parts or checking position on a conveyor. Minimum object size is 0.15 mm diameter, so it catches fine targets.

Rectangular body with a right-angle face — 12 mm wide, 24 mm tall, 4 mm deep — fits where a barrel sensor won't. Prewired with 2 m of bare-wire cable; strip and terminate directly. IP67 rating holds up in washdown or dusty environments. Indicator lights simplify alignment during commissioning.
Protection circuits are built in: output reverse polarity, short-cut protection, and power supply reverse polarity. That means fewer field failures if wiring gets crossed — a real time-saver on a line-down swap. CE marked for the European market.
