E3Z-FTP22 is a through-beam photoelectric sensor with a 20 m max sensing distance. PNP output, M12 4-pin connector. Supply 10 to 30 VDC. L-ON/D-ON selectable via DIP. Rectangular plastic body, M18 nose mount.
Peer comparison – E3S-CT11
E3Z-FTP22 uses a PNP-only output and M12 connector; the E3S-CT11 offers both NPN and PNP outputs on a pre-wired 2 m cable. Wiring and output circuit differ, so a swap requires cable replacement and output logic adaptation.
Mounting & wiring
Mount via M18 threaded nose or bracket. M12 4-pin connector; supply 10 to 30 VDC. Select L-ON or D-ON via DIP on the sensor. Through-beam set includes separate emitter and receiver; align across a 20 m gap. Infrared LED source eliminates ambient light interference in most indoor lines.
