The E3Z-R61 2M: That 2m is the maximum detection distance for the standard target — if you're mounting it across a conveyor or through a machine gap, the actual usable range drops with target reflectivity and ambient light. For a clean white card at 2m it's reliable; for a dark or angled target, budget 1.5m or less.
