Sensor-fit overview
The Omron E3Z-R81 2M is a compact retro-reflective photoelectric sensor with a PNP output, rated IP67, and a sensing range of 0.1...4m using a separate reflector. The 2m pre-wired cable is bare-lead terminated, ready for a terminal block or M12 interconnect. Operating modes are selectable between LIGHT-ON and DARK-ON via the sensor's teach function, and response time stays under 1 ms for high-speed object detection on conveyors or packaging lines. Note that the reflector is not included with the sensor (E39-R1, E39-R10, E39-R1S, E39-R2, E39-R9 series); order separately for the BOM line. The IP67 rating makes it suitable for washdown zones and dusty environments.
