What the key ratings mean for fit
The E3Z-T61-L DC12-24: Output listed as 'NPN output Emitter' tells you this unit sends the beam, it does not switch a load. The emitter powers the infrared LED; the receiver pulls the NPN transistor low on detection. If your BOM calls for an E3Z-T61-L, you already know the receiver is separately ordered. The 15 m through-beam range is the maximum clean-air distance between emitter and receiver; factor in dust, steam, or misalignment and you'll derate. Pre-wired 2 m cable means you wire straight to the terminal block in the panel—no extra connector sourcing.
