The Omron E3Z-T81A is a photoelectric through-beam sensor with a 10 m sensing range, designed for applications where the emitter and receiver are aligned across a gap to detect opaque objects. The E3Z-T81A is a current-production part.
Not a swap for the E3Z-LL61
The E3Z-LL61 is a distance-settable background suppression (BGS) sensor with a sensing range of 20–300 mm on white paper, a fundamentally different detection method. The E3Z-T81A's 10 m through-beam design cannot be dropped into a panel wired for the E3Z-LL61 without rewiring and realigning the optics.
