Its 25 mm sensing gap targets part-present detection on small sub-assemblies — compact enough (11 mm wide) to mount alongside pneumatic actuators or on a transfer rail. The infrared LED source gives better ambient rejection than red LED in high-glare environments. A 1 ms response handles fast index lines; the 2 m cable runs direct to the PLC input. Spade-type mounting brackets fit the same M3 screw spacing as the E3Z predecessors. PNP output at 100 mA drives most PLC inputs directly; select Light-ON or Dark-ON via the wiring config.
