Connector versus cable – the real difference
The E3ZG82M3JOMS uses an M8 4-pin connector, unlike the E3ZG812MOMS with a 2 m cable. If your panel uses pre-terminated pigtails or you need to swap sensors without pulling new wire, the connector version saves downtime. Output is PNP, matching the E3ZG81M3JOMS; for NPN systems, the E3ZG61M3JOMS is the drop-in electrical alternative with the same 11×40×50 mm body and M8 connector.
Panel fit and environmental limits
