What it is and why it keeps the line moving
Omron E3ZLL832MOMS is a PNP distance-setting photoelectric sensor from the E3Z family. Red LED light source, 500 μs response — fast enough to detect parts at line speed without introducing lag. Sensing range adjustable from 25 mm to 300 mm, selectable light-on/dark-on. 2 m cable, IP67 rated for washdown areas.
Mounting and integration notes
Width 10.8 mm, height 31 mm, length 20 mm. Fits standard 10–12 mm slot gaps. Cable exits rear, 2 m length covers most short-run installations. Uses standard E3Z mounting brackets. PNP output sources current to a sinking PLC input; wire per typical 3-wire proximity sensor scheme. No IO-Link — it's a straightforward discrete sensor.
