Quick integrator note
The Omron E3ZLL88OMS is a distance-setting photoelectric sensor in the E3Z series. Sense range is adjustable from 25 mm to 300 mm via the teach button — no background-suppression gimmicks, true distance measurement by triangulation. Output is PNP, selectable Light-ON or Dark-ON, switching at 500 µs. Supply range 12–24 VDC.
Fit and termination
Housing is 10.8 mm wide, 31 mm high, 20 mm deep. Terminates via an M8 4-pin connector.
Compared to the cable-terminal variant
The closest same-function peer is the E3ZLL832MOMS — identical electrically (300 mm range, 500 µs, PNP) but ships with a 2 m cable instead of the M8 connector. If your panel was wired for a cable-terminated sensor, the E3ZLL88OMS won't drop in without a mating cordset. For a new build or a panel with M8 receptacles already in place, the connector saves field wiring time and makes replacement faster — no stripping, no screw terminals.
