The E3ZM-LS81H 2M is an active-production compact photoelectric sensor rated for a sensing distance of 10 to 100 mm on a 100 × 100 mm white paper target. Sealed to IP67 and IP69K, it holds up in high-pressure washdown zones where standard sensors fail. The pre-wired 2 m cable with M8 4-pin connector drops into new builds or panel retrofits without cutting and reterminating.
Sensing & setup detail
Red LED (650 nm) emitter gives a typical 4 mm spot diameter at 100 mm – useful for detecting small features or slots. Black/white error stays within 5% of sensing distance, so the sensor won't false-trip on glossy targets in the range. Yellow operation indicator and green stability indicator show alignment status during commissioning; differential travel is 3% max, which helps avoid chatter on vibrating mounts.
