Through-beam set for washdown and long-reach detection
The Omron E3ZM-T61 2M is a through-beam photoelectric sensor set with a 15 m sensing range, NPN output, and a stainless steel body rated IP67/IP69K. It operates on 10-30 V DC and detects opaque objects as small as 12 mm diameter. The 2 m prewired cable terminates in bare wires, making it a field-terminated drop-in for conveyor, packaging, or food-processing lines where high-pressure cleaning is routine. Because the sensor carries CE marking and is built in stainless steel, customs clearance into regulated markets (EU, UK, US) is straightforward — the IP69K rating and stainless housing satisfy many food-safety and washdown directives without additional enclosure documentation. The rectangular body measures 32 mm high, 21 mm deep, and 11 mm wide — small enough for tight conveyor frames. The bare-wire cable exits the right-angle face, so plan conduit entrance accordingly. Supply voltage is 10-30 V DC; maximum load current is 100 mA. Response time is 1 ms, sufficient for counting at moderate line speeds. Switching mode is selectable light-on or dark-on; the indicator LED confirms state. Stainless steel body resists corrosion, and IP67/IP69K ratings suit washdown environments. Rated temperature range is -13 °F to 131 °F.
