The Omron E3ZR615MOMS is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from the E3Z series, delivering a 4 m sensing range with a 1 ms response time. It outputs an NPN open-collector signal, rated for 100 mA load, and operates on 12–24 VDC. The housing is IP67-rated, sealed against dust and washdown, with a 5 m cable for wiring.
How it sits against the PNP version
The E3ZR615MOMS shares its entire mechanical footprint (10.8 mm wide, 20 mm tall, 31 mm deep), cable length, sensing range, and IP rating with the PNP-output E3ZR815MOMS. The only difference is the output transistor polarity. If your panel expects a sourcing (PNP) input, this NPN sensor won't drive the load without a logic-level conversion or wiring change. Physically it drops into the same bracket, but electrically it's a different animal.
Mounting and wiring notes
The 10.8 mm wide sensor fits standard E3Z mounting brackets. The 5 m cable exits the rear; wiring is three-wire (brown to +VDC, blue to 0V, black as NPN output). Response time is 1 ms.
