Omron E3ZR815MOMS is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor in the E3Z compact family, delivering a 4 m sensing range with a 1 ms response time. The PNP output sinks 100 mA, matching the sourcing inputs on most PLCs. The 10.8 mm wide body sits in a 20×31 mm footprint — orientation matters because the cable exits from the 20 mm side, so panel cutout placement needs to account for that depth.
Where it runs
Used for conveyor presence, packaging gap detection, and pallet profiling. IP67 withstands washdown; red LED emitter works with standard reflectors.
Sibling swap: E3ZR812MOMI
E3ZR812MOMI is the same photoelectric engine — same 4 m range, PNP output, IP67, 1 ms response — but its body is rotated: 20 mm wide, 31 mm tall, 10.8 mm deep. The cable entry is on the long side. If your panel cutout was drilled for that orientation, the E3ZR815MOMS won't physically fit without a new hole pattern. Electrical swap is direct; mechanical swap is not.
