The Omron E3ZT815MOMS is a through-beam optical sensor from the E3Z series, rated for a 15 m sensing distance with a PNP output and a 5 m cable. It switches 100 mA loads in 1 ms and operates from 10.8 to 26.4 VDC over -25 to 55 °C.
What the ratings mean for your panel
The IP69K rating withstands high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns, a step beyond the IP67 of the connector-based E3ZT86OMI. The fixed 5 m cable entry avoids moisture ingress risk of an M8 connector. Voltage range is wider than the E3ZT86OMI (10.8–26.4 VDC vs 12–24 VDC), so it holds regulation on longer cable runs where voltage drop is a concern. The response time (1 ms) is the same across both.
Mounting and wiring check
This version terminates with a 5 m cable — you'll need a cable gland or strain relief at the panel entry; no M8 connector to dock. Dimensions: 11 mm wide, 31 mm tall, 17 mm deep. Fits standard E3Z brackets.
