E3ZT81M3J03MOMS is an Omron E3Z-series retro-reflective photoelectric sensor with a PNP output and a 15 m sensing distance using an infrared LED. Pre-wired with IP67 sealing, it operates on 12–24 VDC and switches in 1 ms (Light-ON / Dark-ON selectable). The 10.8 mm wide housing fits E3Z-standard DIN-rail footprints.
Infrared vs red LED – E3ZT81M3J03MOMS compared to E3ZLR81M1J03MOMS
Both are retro-reflective PNP sensors in the same 10.8 mm-wide E3Z package. The E3ZT81M3J03MOMS uses an infrared LED and covers 15 m; the E3ZLR81M1J03MOMS uses a visible red LED and is rated for 7 m. If your existing panel was wired for a pre-wired retro-reflective sensor, either will drop into the same slot (same dimensions, same wiring scheme). Choose the 15 m version when longer range or infrared wavelength is required for background suppression or ambient light rejection.
