What this sensor delivers
The Omron EE-SX671R is a compact through-beam photoelectric sensor in the EE-SX67 series. It switches on a 5–24V DC supply and gives you a PNP output — common for PLC inputs and industrial controls. Rated for 5 mm sensing distance with response time under 0.17 ms and switching frequency up to 3 kHz. That means it can catch fast-moving parts on a pick-and-place or conveyor edge without missing cycles. Minimum detectable object is 2 mm x 0.8 mm opaque, so it handles small targets like pins or tabs. Selectable Light On / Dark On switching mode and an indicator light are included. The built-in output short-circuit protection saves downstream inputs if a wire shorts out.
Mounting and wiring notes
L-slot body style, solder terminal connection. Overall dimensions 26 mm high, 19 mm wide, 16 mm deep — fits standard sensor brackets or DIN-rail adapters. IP50 rated: protected against dust ingress, but not water sprays. Keep it inside a cabinet or a dry production area. Operating temperature range -13°F to 131°F.

Standards: CE and RU (Russia / EAC) certified. No RoHS statement in this spec set, but Omron typically provides it on request.
