Omron EE-SX772P from the EE-SX77 series — a compact through-beam photoelectric sensor with a 5 mm sensing distance, PNP output fixed to dark-on mode. Prewired with 2 m bare-wire cable, rated IP64. Senses opaque objects as small as 2 mm x 0.8 mm. Response time of 0.17 msec and switching frequency of 3 kHz — fast enough for high-speed pick-and-place or small-parts counting. Supply voltage range 5-24 V DC, load current 50 mA max. Right-angle face orientation keeps the cable run tight against the mount.
Peer sensor E3Z-T81K 2M offers a 15 m range and IP67, but it's a physically larger rectangular body, selectable light/dark-on, and 1 msec response — not a footprint or wiring match for the EE-SX772P's T-slot body and fixed dark-on logic. If the panel was designed for E3Z mounting, the EE-SX77 won't drop in without mechanical rework.
T-slot body — 12 x 12 x 31 mm, PBT housing, right-angle cable exit. Mounts into a 12 mm slot; requires clearance for the cable bend. Prewired 2 m cable, bare ends, no connector. IP64 keeps out dust splashes but not pressurized washdown. Operating temperature range -13 to 131 °F; Infrared light source, Dark On mode, PNP output, 50 mA max load, with Indicator Lights for alignment.
