What it is and what it does
The Omron EESX671P.1 is a through-beam photomicro sensor from the EE-SX67 series, sized for tight spaces at 21 mm wide by 16 mm tall by 26 mm deep. It detects objects up to 5 mm away with a 1 ms response time, switching at 50 mA via a PNP output. Supply range is 5–24 VDC; the emitter uses an infrared LED. Termination is a 4-pin connector.
Mounting and wiring note
The 4-pin connector mates with a matching flying-lead connector or pre-wired socket (not supplied). Mounting holes on the sensor body are designed for M2 screws on a 21 mm pitch, and the emitter and receiver faces must align within the specified 5 mm gap.
