300 A switching in a PCB-mount package
The Omron G9KA-1A-E-DC24 is a high-capacity PCB power relay rated for 300 A switching current and 1 kV AC switching voltage — a combination that typically requires a panel-mount contactor or a bus-bar assembly. Here it fits onto a PCB through-hole layout, saving enclosure space and simplifying wiring.
What the 300 A / 1 kV rating means for your load
300 A continuous switching covers high-current DC bus pre-charge, battery isolation, or large resistive heating loads. The 1 kV AC rating means it can break motor inrush or transformer magnetising currents at distribution voltages up to 690 V with margin — a spec that few PCB relays carry. The 24 VDC coil (115.2 Ohm coil resistance) draws about 208 mA at nominal voltage — a standard PLC or relay driver output can sink this without an external booster.
Through-hole PCB integration
Mounts via through-hole PCB pins (termination type: PCB Pins) with a footprint of 51 mm wide, 54.5 mm tall, and 51 mm deep. The silver-alloy contacts (Ag Alloy) handle the high-current path without welding under normal overloads.
