It protects a single-pole-plus-neutral outgoing circuit against both overload/short-circuit (thermal-magnetic trip, C-curve) and earth leakage (30 mA sensitivity). Clip it onto a DIN rail, torque the tunnel terminals to 2 N·m, and it's ready for a 50 Hz network.
The 25 A rated current at 50 °C is the continuous load the RCBO can carry without tripping — size it for the circuit's full-load current, not the breaker's maximum. The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is the standard for personal protection against indirect contact; it will trip on a fault current above that threshold.
The 18 mm width takes two 9 mm pitches on a DIN rail, leaving room for adjacent modules in a distribution board. It is padlockable with a 4 mm padlock for lockout/tagout. The ON/OFF indicator and contact position indicator give visual confirmation of state. Compliance to BS EN 61009-1 covers the UK and many Commonwealth markets for RCBOs.
